Not much to announce this week, except that more album work is taking place- Hard at work we promise!!! :-p

Look to the Sky most recently was ranked in the Top 15 MySpace Bands for the Acoustic Category for the Virginia & Northern NC area by YOU!
Oddly enough, we no longer really play much acoustic music, but the only music we have currently released seems to still fit that mold.

In other news, our next video update may be a little delay, but check back soon, hopefully we'll include some clips from our last show which was AMAZING for us.

Recording this week has been plagued with sickness. Hopefully everyone will be at the top of our game for the Chesterfield SAFE Bandfest event, where we are showcasing for our community. We also have a new video update!!!

As with everything, Look to the Sky is taking forever on their work on a new album. It is in the works though, I promise, and I think it will be something that everyone will really enjoy. I won't promise you "the next big most unique album that you have ever heard," but for us, it will be a huge departure. We have some powerpop / pop punk tunes, a few dance rock songs, some alternative rock stuff for you, and a few more typical slow songs that we are known for. I mean, obviously, I can't sum it up that easily, but that's what I can say from the pre-recording sessions. I think it is a group consensus that our first single will be a song some of you have heard at the live shows, called "Forward Feeling." It's one of our more upbeat songs, and one of the first we will be recording. If we do go ahead with it as our single, then we'll hit up some radio stations with it and try to make it available ASAP. Also, after this week, we'll be doing weekly updates via youtube video and on the site. No more waiting around a few monthes for info, we'll try to keep in better touch and let you follow us through the recording process!
